Style me, me: Naomi (Me)

Style me, me; presenting myself! Cause you gotta start somewhere.
I have always loved clothes, and it's not a materialistic thing, where I have to wear the latest name brands, or show off to others - but its a way that has helped me feel confident in who I am. And I love clothes and styling, because I can use it to help others become confident and beautiful as well. For me, being plus size isn't a negative thing - the silhouettes and layers I use can help define my curves and accentuate the parts I want accentuated. For my body type, it is important for a lot of clothes to hit me at my true waist - this belt and romper show off the smallest part of my stomach. Then, since it is still not exactly warm-weather and a jacket or sweater is needed outdoors - a cropped jacket still shows off the waist. Right now I am obsessed with bootie heels as well. They are still extremely comfortable and easy to walk in, but they give you some added height which helps balance out your body type and make your legs look longer.

I'm also a sucker for a steal, and like to think of myself as the Flo of shopping (you know the progressive lady.. she's always talking about being able to find the best price, right?)
Romper: TJ Maxx $20
Belt: Nordstrom Rack $12
Jacket: The Gap - stolen from sister... so that means free.
Shoes: Cat Footwear

Saturday Morning Brunch

I was able to recently reconnect with old friends over a Saturday classic brunch. Potluck style brought some delicious items to our menu - yogurt parfaits, egg casserole, fruit salad, hash browns, and blueberry muffins (someone might've picked up donuts, because someone might have a sweet tooth.. ahem). It was a wonderful morning filled of good food, laughter, and beautiful ladies, and an adorable little girl.

I have recently discovered something, that may or may not already be a well known treasure, and apologize if I'm late to the game... but I just had to share. Three words. Vanilla. Greek. Yogurt.

It's like candy! It is the sweetest, thickest, creamiest, yummiest thing I've ever had. It's like dessert. But its yogurt... so that makes it good for you, right? Right.

Turning the yogurt into a yummy parfait with blueberries, and strawberries and granola makes for a filling, nutrient filled breakfast.

This girl has an attitude. Obvi.

 Adorable Zoey girl.

Aren't these ladies gorgeous?!
